Today marks the end of the first Tremiti Music Festival.

The 4-day event has taken place between the islands of San Domino and San Nicola, and the quality of the music and organisation has been absolutely impeccable. We were even very lucky with the weather because storms were forecast for the past few days, but as often happens on Tremiti the clouds and lightening can be seen in the distance, but they don't affect us - or if they do, it's tangentially and for a very short while.

This promises to be a yearly appointment with jazz music. I am so glad to have been here to discover new musicians, appreciate top-notch music, and witness the audience's enthusiasm. It's such a joy to see that even the untrained ear appreciates quality music, no matter how challenging it can sound. Amazing voices, virtuosos of jazz, and 4 evenings of breezy musical bliss. Thank you Puglia Sounds, WeShowPuglia, and all the organisation for making this happen on our little archipelago!
